Representing the best of UK electronics manufacturing in a special exhibition created for the British government, Servomex recently showcased its range of gas analysis solutions to the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS).
The Association for Instrumentation, Control, Automation & Laboratory Technology (GAMBICA) selected Servomex to display its range of gas analysis solutions at the Westminster offices of the BIS.
Designed to raise awareness of the electronics manufacturing industry to staff and visitors to BIS, the exhibition highlighted the role the instrumentation and automation industry provides in solving key issues for the UK – including improving the competitiveness and growth of manufacturing across the country.
The exhibition was visited by Mark Prisk MP, Minister for Business and Enterprise, where he viewed a range of cutting-edge products including the Servomex SERVOPRO MultiExact.
“We were delighted to have been chosen by GAMBICA to represent the ‘Best of British’ in Instrumentation and Control”
Prisk also met with Jim Macfarlane, Operations Director at Servomex alongside representatives from GAMBICA and other leading companies including ACS, Cecil Instruments, Danfoss, Phoenix Contact, Seaward and Trend Controls.
The SERVOPRO MultiExact was specifically chosen for the showcase due to the multigas analyser being recently augmented by the breakthrough technology of TruRef TCD, which adds highly accurate measurements for Ar and N2 to measurements for O2, CO2 and N2O using Servomex’s paramagnetic, zirconia cell and Gfx photometric technologies.
“We were delighted to have been chosen by GAMBICA to represent the ‘Best of British’ in Instrumentation and Control,” said Macfarlane.
“We hope the exhibition underlined the important role UK manufacturing has to play in supporting the economy as well as promoting Britain’s global reputation for design and innovation.”
