Thermadyne Holdings Corporation has changed its name to Victor Technologies Group, Inc., leveraging the company’s strongest and most established brand.
Wholly owned subsidiary Thermadyne Industries, Inc. has also changed its name to Victor Technologies International, Inc.
In a statement announcing the change, CEO Martin Quinn was very much looking to the future. He explained, “To re-position the company in the marketplace, we are returning to our roots.”
“Victor Technologies will recapture the pioneering spirit and embody the original attributes of the Victor brand: authenticity, reliability and innovation.”
