Nippon Gases, part of the Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation, has published its Sustainability Report for the 2019 fiscal year.
The report provides a transparent and detailed overview of the company’s work, outlining the company’s progress against its goals and announcing its purpose behind its sustainability agenda: Improving the future through gases.

The report shares the continued commitment and progress in Nippon Gases’ sustainability focus areas, which include resource efficiency, energy efficiency, water usage, water management, minimising emissions, sustainable technology solutions, its commitment to safety, compliance and ethical behaviour, diversity, talent management, and community engagement. The non-financial goals and measures are core elements of its integrated sustainability strategy.
Nippon Gases has said that the coronavirus outbreak, impacting at the very end of the fiscal year, showed that not only the immediate responsiveness of the company to preserve the health and safety of its employees, but also that of the entire value chain, relating to the supply of medical oxygen and other gases and solutions for its healthcare and homecare respiratory services, as well as food and numerous essential industries, as key part of value driven strategic orientation.
