Having departed the gas supply equipment market in 2002 following a period of consolidation, Nissan Tanaka has announced that it is re-entering the equipment market with a brand new range of products.

Nissan Tanaka was incorporated in 2002 by the merger of the industrial equipment divisions of Nippon Sanso (formerly Taiyo Nippon Sanso), Nissan Shoji and Tanaka Engineering Works.

Its gas supply equipment business was formerly under the guise of the Tanaka Engineering Works, though sales of these materials ceased when Nissan Tanaka was formed in 2002 and the new enterprise underwent a period of consolidation.

Now, the company has announced that it is to produce gas supply equipment again at its plant in Nagano. April 2010 saw it found a new division for this business, the Gas Control Products Division. It then embarked on creating a system which would have its own gas supply materials for use in making gas panels such as fittings valves.

The Gas Control Products Division will come out with a new range of products by changing the way of thinking at the Nagano plant – aiming to maintain a high operation ratio at the plant itself and at increasing sales of gas control products.
