Nordson ASYMTEK awarded for contribution to microelectronics

Nordson ASYMTEK has won the IMAPS Corporate Recognition Award 2010. The achievement recognises significant technical contributions to the microelectronics industry and leadership in dispensing fluids for electronic component assembly.
Nordson ASYMTEK is a designer and manufacturer of automated fluid dispensing and coating systems. The company provides a range of solutions for various products from semiconductor packaging, printed circuit boards, LEDs, as well as photovoltaic products.
The International Microelectronics And Packaging Society (IMAPS) recently recognised Nordson’s contribution to the microelectronic industry by awarding it the 2010 Corporate Recognition Award. The award was given out during a ceremony held at the IMAPS conference in Raliegh, North Carolina, USA.
IMAPS commended the winner, “Nordson ASYMTEK consistently introduces new technology to enable better use of electronic materials. They introduced jet dispensing of fluids, such as underfill for flip chips.”
John Byers, President of Nordson ASYMTEK, remarked, “Nordson ASYMTEK is honoured to be recognised by this well-established industry organisation. We look forward to many more years of collaboration.”
