Obituary – Ron Corns

Ron Corns, aged 48, passed away tragically on October 4th, 2011 following a motorcycle accident.

Ron was born in South Bend, Indiana on July 5, 1963 to parents, Helga and Edwin Corns. He graduated from high school in South Bend, Indiana and matriculated at Purdue University, where he excelled in science and earned a degree in chemical engineering. He furthered his education, obtaining a master’s degree in business administration at Bowling Green. He met his wife, Tina, after moving to Philadelphia to start a new job in the chemical gas industry. He served most recently as the CEO of American Gas Group, a company started with good friend, John Armelagos.

Ron Corns was known for his great generosity and optimism. He was loved by many for his honesty, sincerity, caring, and humble nature. Admired for his skills of negotiation, Ron could appreciate the differences in people, put them at ease and motivate them to work together. A dedicated family man, his biggest joy in life was spending time with his family. He was very supportive and proud of his sons.

Ron is survived by his wife, Tina; sons, Austin (7), Graydon (3); father, Edwin Corns; sister, Marie Pusinelli, nephews, Adam, Grant, AJ, and Mikey. He is preceded in death by his mother, Helga Corns.
