Butler Gas Products of Pennsylvania has just announced the promotion of Bob Urie from General Manager of Purchasing and Branch Operations to the new Vice President of Operations.
Urie, who joined the company last August, will now take on more responsibility for Butler Gas Products’ strategic opportunities, overall business operations and gas-focused activities.
According to a company statement Urie, “continues to lead the company’s purchasing efforst, branch locations, and non-gas products sales models.” He joins other Vice Presidents – Heather Ferrand, Tom Kairys, Sandy Gobrish and Lee Rosenhamer.
Pennsylvanian based North American industrial gas company, Airgas, Inc., has appointed Doug Sherman Vice President of Communications.
Linde North America has announced that Jim Stanley is to take up the role of Program Manager of Industrial Applications.
Houston, Texas, based Thigpen Energy has selected Chart for the provision of LNG fueling equipment and supplies – with construction already underway. Earlier this week it was announced that the company’s eastern European outfit, Chart Ferox, was chosen to construct LNG filling station in Poland.
