North American Helium has appointed Marlon McDougall as President and Chief Operating Officer.
As President and Chief Operating Officer, McDougall will provide leadership to North American Helium’s expanding operations, including an increase in drilling activity in 2019 as well as construction of the company’s first production facility, which will be announced in the coming weeks.
McDougall has previously served as Chief Operations Officer of two 50,000+ barrel of oil equivalent (boe)/day oil & gas producers in Western Canada, where he was responsible for hundreds of employees and capital projects as large as $700m.
“We are very excited to bring a leader of Marlon’s calibre and experience to our team at North American Helium” said Nicholas Snyder, Chairman and CEO at North American Helium.
“Marlon has significant leadership experience overseeing complex oil and gas drilling and facilities construction operations. He has a track record of leading projects that come in on time and budget.”
“He is the right operational leader for our team as we prepare for the construction of our first production plant while continuing to manage growing exportation and development programmes in multiple jurisdictions,” Snyder concluded.
