Operating and raw material costs affect Air Products’ prices

The Tier One company, Air Products, yesterday announced a price increase on all epoxy curing agents, diluents and resins.
The price change will come into effect on 1st December 2010, or as contracts allow. It will increase all list and off-list prices for its epoxy curing agents, diluents and speciality epoxy resins within North America. The price changes will vary according to products. Epoxy curing agents will see an increase from five to 15 cents per pound, while epoxy resins and diluents will alter from five to 30 cents per pound.
In a press statement, Air Products attributed the price increase to, “escalating operating and raw material costs.”
