Last month flow control specialist Oxford Flow celebrated its headcount growth of 42% over the past 12 months.
The company, which specialises in equipment for energy, water, and industrial process industries has been looking to expand internationally across EMEA and North America.
The new hires include Cairo-based Amir Basha who is starting as the MENA Business Development Manager. Following successful trials with an Oman water utility and Europe’s largest gas processing facility, Basha will focus on driving growth of the company’s valve technology.
As the new Business Development Manager for Europe and Central Asia, Benny McCallum will use his industry expertise to further the company’s reputation as a leading valve specialist.
As the new North America hire, Mike Evans will contribute to the company’s diversification strategy and focus on accelerating market penetration across industrials and process.
Commenting on the growth, Neil Poxon, CEO, Oxford Flow, said, “Our international expansion is critical to our next stage of growth.”
“With North America quickly becoming our fastest growing region, Mike’s appointment is key to continue to expand our network.”
He also said that the company is seeing developing trends both in North America and further afield for smart valve technology that increases reliability and efficiency whilst reducing environmental impact.
In order to drive technology development and scale up manufacturing, Rob Winlow has stepped into the new role of VP of Engineering. The company’s headcount growth reflects its recent technology milestones, such as positive results for ES valve in fugitive emissions testing and the IM valve being accepted onto a framework agreement with SGN.
Poxon continued, “Our team is going from strength to strength as we expand to capture the significant potential we see across industrial, process and energy sectors.”
With operations being run on an international scale, including the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific, Oxford Flow employs people globally across its engineering, sales, operations and safety functions.
