Gas generation specialist Oxymat will showcase its range of oxygen generators aquaculture technology exhibition Aqua Nor next month in Trondheim, Norway.
From the first aquaculture oxygen generator installed in 1995 at 8kg/h to the “world’s largest” smolt plant of 640kg/h, visitors to Oxymat’s stand will experience the company’s 25 years of development.
The company will also launch a new product for the aquaculture industry at the event.
“Oxymat has for 25 years been the forerunner of the development of oxygen plants that are adapted to the customer’s needs and requirements for safe supply of oxygen,” the company explained in a press release.
“Aquaculture is developing rapidly, and the biomass of fish is growing due to the growing supply and demand of meals on the table. This will significantly increase the demand for oxygen in the future.”
OXYMAT has supplied a duplex nitrogen (N2) generator to Kansanshi Mining in Zambia for its ‘porous plug technology’, a new processing alternative for production in the copper business.
OXYMAT, manufacturer of PSA gas generators, has recently delivered both oxygen and nitrogen generators to US HQ-based Silicon Materials, Inc. (SMI) whose high-quality electronic grade silicon wafers are used in the semiconductor industry worldwide.
At the end of last year, Oxymat’s partner CO-MED di Paolo Colombo, installed an oxygen (O2) gas generator at the hospital L’Ospedale di Venaria Reale, situated in the Province of Turin, Italy.
