Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG has acquired 100% of the shares of flow test instrument provider Advanced Test Concepts, Inc. (ATC).
Under the deal, of which financial details were not disclosed, Pfeiffer Vacuum said that its already strong team is now “completed with the experts and products from ATC.”
Founded in 1890, Pfeiffer Vacuum is globally active with a portfolio that encompasses backing pumps, measurement and analysis devices, components as well as vacuum chambers and leak testing solutions.
ATC, an Indianapolis-based company founded in 1988, is a chief supplier of precision industrial leak and flow test products and solutions based on its patented micro-flow technology.
It currently serves multiple industries including the automotive, life sciences and consumer electronic industries.
A statement from ATC reinforced that this takeover will “enhance both companies’ capabilities and help customers to ensure that their products meet industry requirements, safety and environmental regulations.”
“This acquisition strengthens our position as a provider of leak and flow testing solutions,” it added.
Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG has released multiple products developed by its new subsidiary Advanced Test Concepts, Inc. (ATC) that eliminate the need for special tracer gases by using air as part of its leading leak testing technology.
