The new gas analysis systems from Pfeiffer Vacuum have a modular design, intelligent software and a wide range of applications for precise measurement of covalent noble gases.
Today, mass spectrometry is one of the most widely used analytical methods for identifying chemical elements and compounds. With the OmniStar and ThermoStar benchtop analysis systems, Pfeiffer Vacuum offers you two optimum complete solutions for gas analysis, in particular in connection with chemical processes, in the semiconductor industry, metallurgy, fermentation, catalysis, laser technology and environmental analysis.
The OmniStar and ThermoStar analysis systems consist of inlet system, PrismaPlus mass spectrometer, a dry diaphragm vacuum pump and HiPace turbopump. They feature a heated, temperature-regulated gas inlet system and, by comparison with such competing methods as FTIR and IR, are suitable for qualitative and quantitative analysis of gases.
The OmniStar gas analyser offers precise monitoring of up to 128 gases from 100% down to sub-ppm levels. The turn-key OmniStar has a small 12” x 22” footprint with no external pumps, saving valuable lab space. OmniStar features more intuitive software, fast Ethernet connectivity and OPC communications for easy integration. It’s ideally suited for many gas analysis applications and Pfeiffer Vacuum’s expert support staff are on-hand to assist.
