Aiming to further develop its business in North Asia and Latin America, gas analysis equipment manufacturer Picarro has added two senior executive level leaders to its ranks as it aims to capitalise on international demand and develop new markets in unexplored territories.
The company has announced that Helio Ventura has assumed the role of Senior Director of Business Development for Latin America, having previously been Varian Inc.’s most senior executive in Latin America and consistently delivered double digit year-over-year growth.
Responsible for all aspects of Latin American operations including sales, service, channel development and general administration, Helio will now be located in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Nobu Fukatsu has become Senior Director of Business Development for North Asia, having cemented his status as an accomplished international business executive with experience spanning three different continents, with both start-ups and large companies.
Commenting on the developments and the company’s aims for future growth, Picarro CEO Michael Woelk said, “We’ve already seen strong international demand for trace gas analyzers based on our unique WS-CRDS (Wavelength-Scanned Cavity Ring Down Spectroscopy) technology. With Helio and Nobu in place, we’ll be able to fully capitalise on that demand, as well as develop new markets in those territories.”
