Praxair is increasing the price on its bulk industrial gases affecting its North America customers.
The Tier One company has announced an increase of up to 15% for bulk nitrogen (N2), oxygen (O2), argon (Ar), hydrogen (H2), carbon dioxide (CO2) in the US, Mexico and Canada.
The spike is effective from January 1st 2018, or as contracts permit.
A press release said the adjustments “are in response to rising energy, distribution and labour costs”.
