Tier One corporation, Praxair Inc., has reigned supreme over all other industrial gas corporations in the 2016 Newsweek Green Rankings.

We have embedded sustainable development across our business to help drive value throughout our company
Overall, Praxair ranked 101st in the US top 500 and 179th in the Global top 500.
Dr. Riva Krut, Chief Sustainability Officer, stated, “We have embedded sustainable development across our business to help drive value throughout our company and appreciate being recgonised by Newsweek Green Rankings for these efforts.”
“Each of our employees takes this responsibility seriously and the results of their efforts can be seen in their day-to-day actions, whether it is taking the initiative to reduce waste, conserve energy or develop solutions that help solve some of the world’s greatest environmental challenges.”
Just last week, Praxair released its third generation of five-year Sustainable Development Targets in which Energy and Climate change and Sustainable Productivity were defined as areas to target and drive long-term value and creation.
Month on month the gasworld website continues to be the primary portal for information, on a global scale, about our industry - be it through the provision of news and features, or information in the expansive company directory section. Launched in 2004, it is the only independent online news provider and information portal for the global industrial gas community and the larger end-user markets. The website also now incorporates news for gasworld US and Specialty Gas Report.
