Praxair ‘proud’ to supply Hua Li Microelectronics

Praxair’s Chinese subsidiary, Praxair China, has won a long-term supply contract with Shanghai Hua Li Microelectronics Corporation. According to the latest agreement, Praxair will supply industrial gases to the firm’s 12-inch integrated circuit chips production line.
Hua Li is a state-owned company engaged in the production of advanced integrated circuits, the project itself is the latest national priority project for advanced integrated circuits. The firm is situated in Zhangjiang High-Tech Park of Shanghai.

The Chairman of Hua Li, Wenbiao Fu, remarked, “Hua Li is glad to collaborate with Praxair, a reliable partner in gas supply that effectively contributes its expertise in serving the semiconductor industry and our critical project.”

Meanwhile, Joe Cappello, the President of Praxair Asia, responded, “Praxair is proud of being selected by Hua Li to be their supplier for this very important growth project. We are committed to bringing value-added and energy-efficient solutions to our customers in China.”
Under the contract, Praxair China will build upon the existing pipeline complex in the Zhangjiang High-Tech Park to supply ultra-high purity of oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen and helium to support the Hua Li project. The move will galvanize Praxair China’s position as a premier gas supplier in Zhangjiang High-Tech Park.
