PureAire Monitoring has today (August 11) announced the addition of a brand-new carbon dioxide (CO2) monitor to its line of oxygen deficiency monitors and combustible/toxic gas detectors.

Designed for continuous monitoring of CO2 levels, the innovation is suitable for a wide variation of environments such as restaurants, office buildings and other locations where CO2 may be used, stored or present.

Once operational, the monitor continuously measures CO2 levels from 0-50,000 parts per million, with air quality measurements being taken every two seconds which are visible of a backlit display.

In a statement, PureAire said the monitor responds in seconds to changes in CO2 levels and will remain accurate over a wide range of temperature and humidity levels. In the event that CO2 reaches an unsafe level, user-selectable alarm thresholds will activate.

Commenting on the launch, Brandom Alan, Vice-President of Sales at Marketing at PureAire, said, “Our new CO2 monitor broadens the line of high-quality PureAire products designed to meet our customers’ safety requirements.”
