After six years in the hot seat outgoing Afrox CEO Rick Hogben has delivered his final address to February's annual general meeting.
He said he believed the company was set for further growth, with numerous revenue enhancing projects due to be commissioned in the next twelve months. He also explained his hope that these new developments will go some way towards meeting increased demand and avoiding last year's product shortages.
The expansion plans he leaves behind include the building of five gas processing plants, a MIG wire factory, the purchase of gas cylinders and the complete refurbishment of the company's distribution hub.
The new schemes require considerable investment and will come under the management of Afrox's ninth CEO, new recruit Tjaart Kruger.
