Gas detection product manufacturer Senscient has elected John S. Filla to Chairman of the Senscient Board of Directors, in a meeting of the company directors held in August.
With over 15 years of global experience in the field of instrumentation and controls, Filla is also active in the area of funding, M&A activities and management of several other early-stage companies, where he provides guidance on a broad spectrum of strategic, financial and operational matters.
Jean Berthold, Senscient CMO and VP Sales & Marketing, explained that Filla’s new position will only enhance the company’s future growth and stated, “John continues to be our most active and positive advisor since the company’s very first institutional investment round. Senscient was established in 2004 to develop, manufacture and market advanced gas detection products for industrial safety, environmental monitoring, and process analysis applications.
