US-based Senseeker Engineering has launched a brand-new cryogenic test and evaluation kit for its Oxygen® RD0092 digital readout IC (DROIC) which hit markets last year.

Launching its cryogenic evaluation kit for the product on Tuesday (5th Oct), Senseeker Engineering said it will enable focal plane array (FPA) developers to advance the FPA development and evaluation process.

Available now, the cryogenic evaluation kit includes user-friendly compact electronics for the Oxygen DROIC, along with an liquid nitrogen pour fill dewar cryostat that is configured to accommodate Oxygen-based FPAs.

All cables are also supplied, as well as the software configuration file to control the operation of the Oxygen DROIC.

On the new innovation, Kenton Veeder, President of Senseeker Engineering, said, “The purpose of the kit is to bring-up and optimise the performance of an Oxygen-based infrared image sensor as efficiently as possible and collapse developmental risk and schedule way down.”

Greg Pierce, Director of Infrared Systems, added, “Our customers can now focus on creating the highest performance FPAs and getting to market as quickly as possible.”
