Having gained its PED and TPED certificates in 2008, Serbian company Kryooprema has become the first such Serbian firm to export its cryogenic equipment products into the EU.

Kryooprema has been exporting cryogenic equipment to its neighbouring countries and Switzerland for some time now.

In 2007 the company gained its ISO 9001 certificate, a feat which was followed-up by PED (CE) and TPED (π) certification in 2008. The certificates, coupled with the fact that it is supplying to a number of famous names in the industrial gas business in Serbia and surrounding countries, are thought to have prepared Kryooprema for exports into the European Union (EU).

The company manufactures cryogenic equipment in standard versions and those of custom-made design for veterinarians and laboratories for example, as well as stainless steel and aluminium equipment for special purposes.

Another example of the company’s footprint is the supply of stainless steel ‘A’ frames, used for supporting neutron shields in the prestigious Large Hadron Collider (LHC) Project in CERN, Switzerland.

Achema 2009, Frankfurt
Recognised for its high potential for exports of equipment to the EU, Kryooprema was selected by the CBI, a Dutch Government Agency promoting imports from developing countries into the EU, to participate in a six-year support programme for exporting cryogenic & vacuum equipment and components to the EU.

As part of the programme, gasworld understands that Kryooprema will now be taking part in the Achema exhibition in Frankfurt from 11-15th May 2009.
