Servomex, a gas analysis expert, has reopened its Americas Technical Centre (TC) in Massachusetts following an extensive overhaul of the facility.
The refurbishment included refitting its entire manufacturing capabilities in order to make the revamped Americas TC Servomex’s global centre of manufacturing for the industrial gas (IG) and semiconductor markets.
Servomex’s investment, although not financially disclosed, reaches all areas of the facility with particular improvement in its sensor and analyser manufacturing lines.
The enhancements will enable the UK-founded corporation to produce its range of SERVOPRO safe area analysers as well as its DF series of high purity analysers, distributed under its Hummingbird Sensing Technology brand.
Mike Proctor, Director and Site Leader of Americas TC, “Servomex’s presence in the US takes a huge leap forward with this extensive refurbishment. We’re building on the centre’s existing accomplishments and extensive knowledge base to bring our IG and semiconductor customers improved technology, exciting new products and even better service.”
The video below gives a run-down of day-to-day activities in the newly updated centre.
Following a successful Analytics Symposium held at Linde’s head office in Munich, Germany, several Servomex analyzers have been fully approved for use in gas applications on Linde sites worldwide - without the need for additional testing or qualification.
