The official ceremony of the new SIAD production plant took place 6th October 2006 in Rajhradice, Czech Republic.

According to a company spokesperson, the Rajhradice plant, established in 2005, covers a total area of 40,000 m2, and is one of the most technologically advanced production plants in the industrial gas sector throughout the Czech Republic.

The plant produces industrial gases by the fractional distillation of air, handles the bottling of gases, industrial gas mixtures and medical gases and their distribution as compressed gases in cylinders, as well as liquefied cryogenic gases in tanks. In addition to these activities, there is a management and administrative structure, a division dedicated to the sale and distribution of equipment used in handling the gases, a training centre and a department dealing exclusively with customer service and technical assistance.

The reason for opening this new plant is the continuing growth in both the production and marketing activities of SIAD Czech \\$quot;“ the company which represents the SIAD Group in the Czech Republic \\$quot;“ in tandem with developments in the local economy.

Among the dignitaries present at the ceremony were the Italian ambassador to the Czech Republic, Giorgio Radicati; the president of Bergamo province, Valerio Bettoni, the president of BPU Emilio Zanetti and the President of SIAD, Roberto Sestini.
