S.O.A.L, Air Liquide’s subsidiary in Lebanon, Middle East has been underlining its commitment to safety recently as it worked towards providing defensive driving courses.
Safety defensive driving is a form of training for drivers that goes beyond mastery of the rules of the road and the basic mechanics of driving. Its aim is to reduce the risk of driving by anticipating dangerous situations; this can be achieved through adherence to a variety of general rules and specific driving techniques.
One of the mandatory training modules adopted by IM Training department (KM) is the Safety defensive driving. On two non-continuous days, S.O.A.L. and YASA launched a course that improved the driving skills for its collaborators.
Defensive driving courses offered several benefits to S.O.A.L. In many states, a defensive driving course can be taken as a way to avoid accidents and to promote a safety culture.
