The manufacturer of special gas for semiconductors, Sodiff Advanced Materials, has plans to expand its factory into the largest in the world by June 2007.

Sodiff has invested around $43m (40bn won), over half of its revenue of $68m (63bn won), last year expanding their factory.

During the past five years the company has been investing an average of 78 percent of revenues in facilities to follow their goal of becoming the top special gas supplier in the world.

In June, after the completion of their latest project, the company expects to exceed the capacity of the largest factory in the world, owned by Air Products (1500 tons).

The company said: $quot;With Air Products constructing a factory in Korea, NF3 competition is becoming fiercer.$quot;
