Building on the success of the acclaimed Fluegas 2700 combustion gas analyser, Servomex has introduced the SERVOTOUGH FluegasExact.
The new device integrates Servomex’s unique Flowcube flow sensor technology to give users even more confidence in their combustion gas measurements.
Armed with an integral sampling system, custom-designed for operation in some of the hottest and most extreme combustion environments, the FluegasExact is the analyser of choice for the most demanding hydrocarbon processing and power generation applications.
At the heart of the SERVOTOUGH FluegasExact’s exceptional performance are Servomex’s patented zirconium oxide cell for oxygen measurement and a thick film catalytic sensor for measuring carbon monoxide and COe combustibles.
Able to measure oxygen on a wet basis, the FluegasExact’s advanced zirconia technology requires no external sample conditioning system, while minimal calibration requirements and a long operational life of up to ten years ensure reduced maintenance costs. The FluegasExact’s thick film calorimeter technology monitors CO levels with high precision, giving sufficient sensitivity and speed of response to enable the combustion process to be continuously optimised for increased process safety and efficiency.
Combined, the performance of both technologies improves flame stability, reduces NOx, SO3 and CO emissions and has been proven to save up to four percent of fuel costs per year.
Both sensors are installed within Servomex’s custom-designed heated sensor head, which has a low-flow extractive design that attaches directly to the flue.
The FluegasExact’s exceptional measurement sensor capability is augmented by Servomex’s advanced Flowcube flow sensor technology. Delivering an industry first by enabling true system diagnostics of the sample flow, Flowcube gives total assurance that the measurement is valid and responding within specification.
