The Pupkewitz Foundation has donated 21 tonnes of life-saving oxygen to the Katutura Hospital in South Africa.

Delivered on Wednesday (June 30), as part of an NCCI initiative, the oxygen will support the country’s fight against coronavirus (Covid-19)

Excess oxygen from the delivery was used to fill cylinders for delivery to other hospital sites.

“A deep sense of benevolence and care for our community has always been core to how we do business at Pupkewitz, and it is our great pleasure to be of support to our country during a time of such need,” Pupkewitz said in a recent social post.

“We thank our loyal customers for their support, allowing the Pupkewitz Foundation to reinvest in our communities. Immeasurable thanks go also to our healthcare workers for their heroic and tireless work on the frontline. Strong alone, unstoppable together!”

Over N$4.5 million has been committed by the Foundation to support healthcare and the fight against Covid-19 in the last year.
