A new composite cylinder manufacturing facility for Luxfer
Luxfer Gas Cylinders opening ceremony for the company’s new European composite cylinder production facility in France will take place 13 October.
Luxfer has invested several million euros in the state-of-the-art facility, which will initially employ 40 people. The new facility, an expansion of Luxfer’s existing French plant, will produce full-wrap and carbon composite cylinders used primarily in the medical market, as well as by fire fighters and emergency rescue personnel.
Products will include medical oxygen cylinders and life-support cylinders for self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).
