JSE-listed industrial gas & welding products group African Oxygen (Afrox) has revealed that Cor van Zyl is to retire as the company’s Financial Director at the end of February (2010).
Creamer Media's Engineering News reports that a replacement for Van Zyl has not yet been announced.
Meanwhile, Mlawuli Manjingolo is also believed to have resigned as the company secretary, effective from the end of January.
Only last month, Afrox announced that it had appointed Jonathan Narayadoo as Executive Director of its board. Narayadoo, 51, was previously General Manager of Afrox Merchant and Packaged Gases (manufacturing) Operations and a member of the company’s executive management committee.
