Air Liquide and Sasol sign renewable energy deal for decarbonised oxygen production

Air Liquide and Sasol have signed a new power purchase agreement with Enel Green Power to decarbonise oxygen production in Secunda, South Africa, with renewable power.

Unveiled today (26th Feb), the agreement is the fourth power purchase agreement signed by Air Liquide and Sasol and will see the supply of an additional capacity of 110MW of renewable power.

Air Liquide and Sasol now have a total of 690MW of renewable power capacity through these deals. These represent an annual reduction in its CO2 emissions of around 1.2 million tonnes.
