Air Liquide declares changes in management structure


Air Liquide has revealed that the composition and responsibilities within the company’s management team will be modified from 1st January 2010, following the retirement of Klaus Schmieder.

With Schmieder, Senior Executive Vice President of Air Liquide, having decided to retire effective as of end of 2009, the company has announced a number of changes as a result.

The General Management of Air Liquide will be comprised of Benoît Potier, Chairman and CEO, together with Pierre Dufour, Senior Executive Vice President, and Jean-Pierre Duprieu, Senior Vice President, who will supervise Europe and the Healthcare activities.

Within the management team, other responsibilities will now be distributed among the members of the group’s Executive Committee, effective as of 1st January 2010.
