The first half of 2010 will see Air Liquide start-up a modern new air separation unit (ASU) in Zakłady Azotowe ‘Puławy’ in Pulawy, Poland.
According to Air Liquide, the investment of around €68m in the ASU ‘ensures the position of undisputed leader on industrial gas market in Poland’.
The new ASU will manufacture liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen and liquid argon and will become one of the biggest bulk gas sources in Central and Eastern Poland.
A statement from Air Liquide Polska notes that, “The new facility will meet the growing needs of existing customers and enables us to propose an attractive terms of supply to new potential customers.”
