Air Liquide’s last day at Abu Dhabi conference


Air Liquide is entering the final day of its participation in the World Future Energy Summit, an international conference on new energies, where the group has been presenting its recent technological innovations to reduce CO2 emissions.

The event enters its final day today, having been held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) capital Abu Dhabi, from January 19th to 21st 2009 and bringing together over 15,000 participants, including a large amount of decision-makers.

Air Liquide, involved in the development of clean and sustainable solutions, is exhibiting its technological solutions for reducing the environmental impact of energy production and use, notably through the oxycombustion process.

This technique is particularly well-adapted to the reduction of emissions that come from electricity production by thermal power plants that use coal, and makes it possible to capture and store CO2.
