Texas Instruments (TI) has chosen Air Products to win the 2010 Supplier Excellence Award. The award which is distributed on an annual bases recognises achievement in cost, environmental responsibility, technology, responsiveness, assurance of supply and quality.
Jeff Loewecke, Procurement Specialist for wafer fab materials, chemicals and gases at TI explained the important role played by reliable suppliers. He said, “Suppliers like Air Products help us to innovate, to provide more value. It’s a collective effort on everyone’s part – from quality folks to logistics – to get the product out on time.”
Loewecke concluded, “The quality TI delivers depends on the support of Air Products, and we are proud of our 25 year relationship.” Indeed, Air Products was the only industrial gases firm to win the accolade this year.
Corning Painter, Vice President and General Manager of Electronics for Air Products was delighted with the award, “It is a great honour to receive this award from TI, which reflects the commitment of our Electronics team to consistently deliver the quality and performance our customers have come to expect.”
