Air Products has signed an agreement to sell its polyurethane pre-polymers business to COIM USA Inc.
The new deal means COIM USA Inc., a fully owned subsidiary of global polyurethane chemicals producer COIM SpA, has taken over the Airthane® and Versathane® tradenames, as well as the Air Products’ manufacturing facility in Paulsboro, New Jersey.
Terms of the deal are not being disclosed.
Bob Thomas, Global Business Director of the Performance Materials Division for Air Products said, “We are pleased to reach an agreement for our polyurethane pre-polymers business with a higher value owner like COIM.”
