Industrial gas giant Air Products has unveiled plans to build two new air separation units (ASUs) at its existing Conyers, Georgia, and Reidsville, North Carolina, locations.
The US-based plants will replace older units and provide additional capacity. Both ASUs are scheduled to be onstream in 2026.
Francesco Maione, President of Air Products Americas, said the older assets at the two locations have served Air Products and its customers very reliably.
He added, “Now is the time to install new ASUs, which will have an even greater level of reliability, production, sustainability efficiencies, and additional market growth.”
