Air Products will supply its AP-X® LNG Process technology and equipment to Qatargas for the North Field South Project in Ras Laffan, the State of Qatar.
Under a new contract, the industrial gas giant will provide two new LNG processing trains, adding to the four trains currently being fabricated for the project.
The equipment that will be supplied includes main cryogenic heat exchangers, subcooling heat exchanges, Rotoflow® turbomachinery compandors, and nitrogen economiser cold boxes.
Each of the trains will offer an additional capacity of eight million tonnes per annum.
