Air Products to supply South Korean production facility


Air Products has been awarded the oxygen (O2) supply for Korean chemical company LG Chem’s (LGC) new production facility.

The Tier One company will supply gaseous O2 through an on-site PRISM® vacuum swing adsorption (VSA) oxygen generator to the new facility in central South Korea. The O2 will be used for the production of materials used in secondary batteries.

Air Products said on-site gas generation helps sustainability-minded customers lower carbon footprint, boost energy efficiency, increase throughput, enhance end product quality, and improve environmental performance.
