Air Products unveils pilot project to certify renewable hydrogen
Transport for London and H2 Mobility Deutschland are set to receive some of Europe’s first Guarantees of Origin (GO) generated by Air Products as part of a pilot project.
The project is part of CertifHy, an initiative launching the first European-wide GO scheme for low carbon and renewable hydrogen.
A GO labels the origin of a product and provides information to customers on the source of their products. It operates as a tracking system ensuring the quality of a product such as hydrogen. Transferable across the continent, GOs are intended to create an innovative, transparent hydrogen market.
