Airgas, Inc. has struck-up a strategic supply agreement with Johnson Controls, Inc., a Wisconsin-based diversified firm. The latest deal builds upon an existing alliance between the two companies.
According to the agreement, Airgas will provide Johnson Controls with refrigerant gas, bulk and packaged industrial gas, welding hardgoods and personal protection equipment (PPE).
The five-year agreement forms part of Airgas’ Strategic Accounts program, which serves multi-location customers who benefit from sole-source supply and supply chain management services.
Pat Visintainer, Airgas Senior Vice President of Energy and Materials Markets described the augmentary capacity of this latest deal, “Airgas has been providing refrigerant gases, packaged gases, welding hardgoods and PPE safety products to various Johnson Controls locations for a number of years.$quot;
