Aker Carbon Capture explores carbon capture for biomass and waste-to-energy sites

Aker Carbon Capture is assessing the feasibility of integrating its Just Catch carbon capture technology into biomass and waste-to-energy facilities.

The Norwegian company has been awarded a study from a European developer for the project that will study four initial plants.

Jon Christopher Knudsen, Chief Commercial Officer at Aker Carbon Capture, notes that the Just Catch technology facilitates serial-produced carbon capture units with cost and delivery benefits.

Knudsen continued, “By addressing our customers’ specific requirements, we aim to contribute to the successful realisation of their CCUS projects.”
