AMCS Corporation has entered into an agreement to supply the Italian Group SOL with a cryogenic nitrogen liquefier unit, operating at a nominal liquefaction capacity of 250 tons per day (tpd).
The new liquefier unit will be integrated with an existing SOL plant in order to increase the production of liquid oxygen and nitrogen and enhancing the overall plant efficiency.
The agreement sees the two companies embark upon their second collaboration, having agreed a deal for the supply of a cryogenic nitrogen plant to SOL in March 2010.
The new liquid nitrogen plant will be an ULTRA–L-250TM, one of the ULTRA-LTM series of highly efficient standard liquid Nntrogen plants featuring AMCS’ latest process cycle design – and offering attractively low life cycle costs. AMCS supplies the ULTRA–LTM plants over a broad product range of 25 and 800 tpd of liquid products.
