Atlas Copco has today (23rd May) completed the acquisition of Maziak Compressor Services, a distributor of air compressors, nitrogen generators and process cooling equipment, as well as related services and support.
Based near Northampton, UK, Maziak Compressor Services is a privately owned company with 40 employees. In 2022, the firm had revenues of approximately £7m ($8.6m).
Vagner Rego, Business Area President of Compressor Technique at Atlas Copco, says that the acquisition will both increase the company’s presence in the region and provide growth opportunities.
“Maziak has an excellent reputation as a quality service provider and has strong sales and service coverage in the East of England and East Midlands of the UK,” he added.
Now acquired, Maziak will become part of the Service Division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
The purchase price was not disclosed.
2023 has already seen Atlas Copco complete several acquisitions across the globe. Most recently, on 3rd May, the company acquired US vacuum equipment firm James E. Watson and Co.

These moves come at Atlas Copco this year celebrates 150 years of business. To celebrate this milestone, the company earlier this year rang the opening bell at NASDAQ in New York City.
Atlas Copco’s listing on the stock market index marks the start of what the company hopes to be a memorable 2023 as it continues to grow its global network.
