Atlas Copco has acquired the operating assets of medical gas service provider MedCore Services.
Based in Toronto, Canada, MedCore services piped medical gas equipment, including medical air systems, vacuum systems, and pipeline equipment for public healthcare and private clinics in Canada.
The company has seven employees and generated revenues of approximately C$1.5m in 2021.
Vagner Rego, Business Area President of Compressor Technique at Atlas Copco, said the purchase will allow Atlas Copco to strengthen its position as a supplier of medical gas solutions in Canada.
