Global chemical company BASF will work together with China-owned Envision Energy (Envision) to accelerate the conversion of green hydrogen and carbon dioxide (CO2) to e-methanol.
Announced today (29th Jan), the collaboration will see the partners integrate BASF’s SYNSPIRE catalyst technology with Envision’s energy management system as part of an advanced, dynamic process design.
Viability of the design will be demonstrated next year at Envision’s Chifeng site in Inner Mongolia, China.
