Biogas body sets out six criteria to integrate green gas


The European Biogas Association (EBA) has published six key recommendations to “let green gas count,” boost environmental integrity and prevent double counting.

The six principles cover unique claims, tracking and retirement, production data, market boundaries, chain of custody model, and verification. They are based on best practices in existing international frameworks.

The latest publication builds on a ‘let green gas count’ cross-association and industry campaign which was launched in February.
