Blue Star Helium receives COGCC approval for three development wells

The Colorado Oil and Gas Conversation Commission (COGCC) has approved the Oil and Gas Development Plan (OGDP) relating to Blue Star Helium’s three proposed helium development wells at the Galactica/Pegasus project in Las Animas County, Colorado.

Jackson #01, Jackson #02, and Jackson #03 are the three wells that will benefit from the approval. The wells are to be drilled as offset development wells to the JXSN#1 and JXSN#2 helium discoveries.

Following the approval, Blue Star Helium will submit the final Form 2s in respect of the wells. On approval of the Form 2s of the newly approved ODGP, the company will have seven helium development wells approved for drilling at Galactica/Pegasus.

Blue Star Helium last month (May 2023) said it wants to start producing helium from its Voyager development in Q4 2023.
