Finnish cryogenic measurement systems manufacturer Bluefors has entered into an agreement to acquire US-based cryocooler technology and manufacturing firm Cryomech.
Bluefors today (28th Feb) announced the acquisition, stating that it is in line with its growth strategy to drive developments in ultra-low temperature cooling technology in R&D and industrial applications.
The combined company will bring together close to 600 employees and cryogenic experts in Finland, Germany, the Netherlands and the US.
Rob Blaauwgeers, CEO and founder of Bluefors, said the combined company will have an even better opportunity to secure technological leadership, which will help serve customers and support strong grow in the cryogenics market.
