BOC ramps up CO2 supply with new Australian plant


Linde-owned gas and engineering company BOC has begun supplying carbon dioxide from its recently completed facility in the state of Victoria, Australia.

The Longford plant was completed in late 2024 and is capable of producing more than 60,000 tonnes of beverage-grade liquid CO2 per year.

Theo Martin, Managing Director of Linde South Pacific and Head of BOC, said that the new facility will support CO2 production in Australia and back up the New Zealand market.

“This plant significantly increases BOC’s national CO2 production capacity and will improve reliability of supply to our customers, particularly those on the east coast of Australia and beyond,” he added.
